Accountability

The Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Foundation is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to enabling world-class, free-of-charge cardiac care in Egypt for those who cannot otherwise afford it. Our supporters entrust us with resources intended to save lives, expand access to treatment, strengthen clinical capacity, and accelerate discovery in cardiovascular science.

To honor that trust, our financial records are professionally audited in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles. Each audit includes the independent auditor’s report, statements of financial position and activities, statements of functional expenses and cash flows, and all required explanatory notes. These filings provide a comprehensive picture of revenues, expenditures, and the allocation of funds across mission programs and operating functions. As one example, our 2021 audited financial statements include the full financial position and activity of the Foundation for fiscal years 2021 and 2020.

The reports below represent our most recent audited financial statements. They are offered so our donors, partners, and the public can evaluate the Foundation’s financial stewardship with clarity and confidence.
