Washington, DC — To fuel the future of care and medicine in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Foundation launched a campaign for the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Founder Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub and Board Chair Dr. Magdy Ishak gathered friends, partners and business and community leaders under the auspices of His Excellency Ambassador Yasser Reda, Egypt’s Ambassador to the United States, to celebrate this significant next chapter for the region, as well as to raise awareness and call for support to transform this vision into a reality.
