Our commitment to our donors and partners is to maintain effective, transparent operations — so that each dollar invested is maximized in creating greater health for vulnerable children and families.
The Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Foundation provides cardiovascular care to adults and children in Egypt completely free of charge for those who cannot otherwise afford it. Your generous donations allow us to fulfill this important mission.
In 2017, Aswan Heart Centre Received 537 million Egyptian Pounds (LE), equivalent to $26,850,000 USD in contributions from our generous family of donors stretching around the world. Their incredible support has enabled us to grow our programs in both clinical care and research – in both cases, nearly doubled over the course of the past three years. This is essential in allowing us to reach even more vulnerable patients who need care today, while also preparing us for the future as we unlock tomorrow’s medical mysteries.
We are proud to share that administrative and operating expenses only make up 4.36% of our overall budget.
